SENDMAIL REDHAT 9- email - person@company.com -problems
I have had experience with linux systems for www, dns and etc.
However, I had to rebuild a linux mail server using sendmail. I was able to get through the config and figure just about everything out but one thing.
Users should be able to send mail to person@company.com. However, if a mail message gets sent to person@company.com a bounce is received that says (reason:550 User not local. Authentication required for relay).
However, if i send the email to person@mail.company.com it goes through and the user receives the message.
have tried several changes in the sendmail.mc file and I have had no luck.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
