Remote Backup of MS Boxes to Linux

We have a central RHEL5 linux server (and can set up a dedicated one if necessary). In addition we have several satellite locations which have one or two Windows boxes.

We need to be able to automatically backup data from the MS boxes to the Linux box over the internet on a regular (daily) basis. Ideally, these would be differential backups with versioning if possible. Also, we'd like the transfers to be encrypted.

Any ideas of what software would be best to use in this scenario?
