Sendmail not sending to hotmail accounts
The maillog file says it sent out fine and it sends fine to gmail and yahoo. SMTP sends to hotmail fine, so its not a banned IP or anything.
This seems to be a common issue, was wondering if anyone had any ideas. Thanks.

This might be off-the-wall
This might be bad advice, 'cause I'm new myself, but is it maybe that you're being filtered as spam because perhaps you are using an IP without an associated domain name so no reverse DNS lookup can be performed?
Not sure why SMTP would succeed and SENDMAIL would not. I thought SENDMAIL was an SMTP server itself. (I use Qmail.)

Yes, you are correct. Our mailserver was on a different IP than where our host is. By adding a reserve DNS entry to the A name record fixed the problem.
SMTP worked fine because it sent from the mail server, but sendmail was sending from the hosting server.
