I have lots of queue coming from MAILER-DAEMON to my mail server running postfix. Just want to verify what does (*) stands for?

825111A1610*
8464A1A1621*
8D9A41A1622*

When I try postcat -q <MSG ID>, it says "postcat: fatal: bad mail queue ID:". But when I remove the (*), it is ok. I want to delete these mails. It could be faster if I can remove the (*).

Any advise?
