[bind] works with empty named.conf

Hi there,

I'm using an empty named.conf file and I can resolve all domains from the Internet.

Example :

Code:
$ ls -l /etc/bind/named.conf
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 0 2007-07-21 14:23 /etc/bind/named.conf
  • Yeah, size of named.conf is 0kb

Code:
$ dig @localhost

; <<>> DiG 9.3.2 <<>> @localhost
; (1 server found)
;; global options:  printcmd
;; Got answer:
;; ->>HEADER<<- opcode: QUERY, status: NOERROR, id: 56041
