adjusting samba lock permissions
We are having some issues using rsync to backup from a primary server onto a secondary server, which then writes to an external usb drive. The primary server seems to lock-up occasionally (doesn't happen every time), when we run the rsync command from the secondary server. I'm wondering if there is some way to allow one user (the secondary server) to always have access to read files even if they are locked by someone else. It appears that the files that are creating the problem have an open lock on them.
