After installing XAMPP for linux i have seen the folder "htdocs" belongs to "nobody"

Hi,

after installing XAMPP for linux i have seen the folder "htdocs" belongs to "nobody".

Has this any intention?

Do you think owning that folder is a good practice?

if your apache server was comprimised, what local user would you want comprimised, an actual user on the machine, or nobody?

Thats the purpose, nobody is a non standard user account and shouldn't be able to logon or have permission on anything non-apache
