Apache server - problems serving MS word doc's

Hi all,

I'm a bit of a newb still but getting there. I have had this server running for about 6 months now with no real problems, until i tried to serve word doc's from it.

Results on the remote machine:

MSIE: give page cannot be displayed

If Word is launched, it returns this error: word cannot open the follow document.

I have tried renaming, tried various different remote machines.

I have found the problem (-:

When i was sending the files over FTP i was sending them as ascii, sent them as binary and all is good.

Jesus, funny how u miss the smallest things.

Admin, please feel free to close this one off.
