Hi all, I found this forum in a web search. Wish I'd found it a long time ago.
Anyhow, I have WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.0-R118
CentOS 3.8 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0
In my disk usage stats it says /dev/hda3 has used 7.5G out of 7.9G:
/dev/hda3 7.9G 7.5G 0 100% /usr
What do I need to do to fix it? Idiot instructions, please. :)
You need to create a partition that is bigger and copy over the existing files and mount the new partition as /usr. Do you have a new drive?
No, I don't have a new drive.
I don't know how to create a new partition. Can I have step by step instructions?
I'm pretty comfortable using SSH, I just don't know how to do a lot of things.
download GParted LiveCD, boot from it and create new partition or resize /usr partition if possible.

Sorry I took so long to update. I couldn't get the forum to open for some reason.
Anyhow, I couldn't do that download on dialup, it's 50mb and I wouldn't know what to do with it when I got it anyhow.
I finally put in a trouble ticket to my host, who told me that drive stores logs and I needed to delete files via SSH.
So I deleted domlogs and the space used dropped from +99% to 32%.
Therefore the problem is now solved. :)

are you sure it was /usr partition? AFAIK, log files are stored in /var partition only.Quote:

So, I deleted apache and dom logs, and it worked. The drive was no longer full. :cool:Quote:

/usr has apache logs and domain logs
One, or both, of those must be full. You'll have to delete files via ssh.
Okk.. remove cache files from /var too.
