Getting an SSL enabled version of MySQL installed...
Hey all,
I have looked around and I'm having some questions still about how to get an SSL enabled version of MySQL 4.x installed on RHEL 3.
Does anyone have any advice on how to go about doing this? I've read that the RPM distrobution can be SSL enabled, but not how to do it. Also, I have read that the distributed binaries don't have SSL and that in order to get SSL functionality I will need to compile it from source.
Does anyone know the real story and _how_ to go about getting this ability out of MySQL?
p.s. sorry for the cross-post.
