Hosting a Web server

Could someone start me off on how to make my Own Hosting Server so i can start making my Own website on my Linuxs server ??

I think these guys are really helpful for learning html/xml/ et al. If I was wondering how to configure and start a web server I'd ask the nice Apaches

I would start by searching "perfect server" followed by the name of the distro you want to use.

For example: perfect server centos 5.2
