'Hosts file'..... LAN eqivalent???
Not really sure where to put this post so here goes.
I just worked out how to us the Hosts file on my Red Hat machine today to resolve my domain name at my local machine... worked a treat and I can now view my mambo site properly from it's local machine
My question is, what is the eqivalent file to put on the other machines on my LAN so they can do the same?
ie: How do I make the internal IP address of 10.0.0.69 resolve to my domain name from the systems at 10.0.0.xx?
Really new to this stuff and any help would be aprieciated
ps... The other 3 machines on the LAN are Win98 machines and my domain name is pointed at my router which port forwards external http requests to the server.
