Hi i recently tried to test my apache web server on my fedora machine..
now when i am here in my college using the college net under proxy i don't know how to configure the ports and port forwarding and all that stuff....
further i am not even sure if it is possible to host a server this way when you are using a proxy connection......
please help me.....

if you don't have an externally visible IP address, then your gateway, or whatever machine is performing the NAT/Proxy has to be configured to direct requests on that port to your machine internally, and since you don't have access to that machine (most likely) you can't do it
