Postfix and no-ip
I've got a webserver (Hiawatha) serving multiple no-ip domains.
So now I need to get and receive mail for those domains.
Example. One of the domains are example1.serveftp.com
I see 5 spaces for MX records with a box selecting each mx records priority.
so would the email domain be firstname.lastname@example.org?
I don't know where to start. With this email server process.
I installed postfix on debian, and don't know where to go from here.
I have my hostname in the postfix config. It's debian01.vc.shawcable.net
I input it in the mx records in no-ip, and it says "Mail Server is invalid: Hostname could not be resolved"
I'm totally confused here.
Never mind. I went to some site that told me my real hostname.
that's what it is. I entered it in and apparently no-ip likes it.
So I have to wait 5 minutes for it to "propogate"
And is it possible to change this long hostname to something different?
