Problems with my ssh
I have problems with my ssh protocol. The proces is UP but i can't connect!
If i make a "init.d/ssh restart" the protocol is not running and my only solution at first is to restart the network protocol (init.d/network restart) wrong!!!!
Anybody have got a similiar problem and have any solution?
is there anything in the logs?
Describing the problem in a bit more detail would help to troubleshoot the problem. When you said "can't connect", is it like no response at all or are there some sort of messages spitted out on the screen when trying to connect? And also I'm confused with your saying that the process is UP but /etc/init.d/ssh start failed to start. If /etc/init.d/ssh fails to start, how did you get it running then?
sorry, my level of linux is very basic...
My distro is Red Hat.
I use Putty to connect to my server and some times the connection is refused.
Where are this logs?
The process of SSH (sshd) is started and if I restarted the ssh don't work correctly. For me, and now the only solutions is to restart all the communications.
