pureftpd unable to login

I have installed pureftpd with tsl support
I created username using pureftpd

But while connecting, I am getting this following error

Response:        530 Login authentication failed
Error:        Critical error
Error:        Could not connect to server

Centos 6 64 bit
The log file is empty!

I am trying about this in google. But didn't get any luck to fix it.
Any idea?
