Replacing inetd with xinetd (Debian)
I want to replace inetd with xinetd on my Debian server. I already just ran "apt-get install xinetd" and converted my inetd.conf to xinetd.conf with a script provided but I'm unsure where to go now. Do inetd and xinetd work together (I don't think so)? Can I remove inetd completly and if so, how would I do that properly. I see both inetd and xinetd running in my processlist at the moment.
If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated!
