sendmail woes
ok i know that this issue has been posted before...i hv searched all the forums, did all the config changes but still no luck, i'm just totally stuck!!!
i have a linux box - stanelec.dyndns.org - ip 192.168.0.102 redhat 9 i hv configured this as an email server and can send email from this server outside from the terminal
another linux box - 192.168.0.102 - on this when i try to send email out through 192.168.0.102
i get a message saying:
"relaying denied 5.7.1
please check the recipients again"
i can receive mail correctly on 192.168.0.101 but i cant send any email out anywhere thru the mail server...i made the changes to /etc/mail/access and /etc/mail/relay-domains

I get a lot of random email addresses loged in my maillog. All of them are Relaying Denied. Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe it is just someone trying to use your mail server as a relay. Probably just a spammer and nothing to worry about, so long as they all have relaying denied.
