[SOLVED] Turning my main machine into a file server.
Going to be turning my main rig into a file server, since I got a new laptop... and I play too many games on this and It's turning me into a lazy piece of dung.
First I will post my specs, all the hardware works with linux as this machine is dual booting with ubuntu and a more gamer friendly distro that we shall not mention its name.
ST3250823AS [Hard drive] 250.06 GB
ST3500320AS ATA Device [Hard drive] 500.11 GB
ASUS M3A78-T Mobo
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 2.3GHZ
Now, all my files are on this first hard drive that is formatted NTFS , I need to save most of the files on this drive.
What are my options here?
Should I just use the 500gb hdd for the new OS installation?
How can I convert the 250GB drive to ext or whatever I will be using on the new OS without losing the current data on it?
