What mailserver to choose?
I'm a bit of a linux newbie, so I need some advice on what mailserver to choose.
I am not going to use the mailserver in a "normal" way I guess, and the requirements I have are these:
I use several different pop3 accounts and I want my server to pop these for me and gather it to one account on my mail server. Possibly sorting it in different directores depending on subject and from which pop3 it arrives from.
I need to access this via the web, i.e. I also need to have a fully functional webmail (preferably with some sort of calendar-function if possible, kind of MS Exchange-style in other words).
Since my ISP has blocked port 25 I will be sending my mails via their smtp server.
I have tried Kerio before, and I like the functions that it has and how it is working. But since it's not a free server that's not on option :?
So, any suggestions on what server to use that might have all these features? And the easier to configure, the better :)
There will not be much email traffic, so great performance and ability to handle X thousands of mail per hour is not necesary.
Small, simple and easy...
Oh, I will be running this on a Slackware 10.0 system btw.
Appreciaty any answers!
