Just installed Slackware 13 on wifes laptop but cant login

So i instaleld it, it said istalling has finnished reboot computer.

then it goes to a Darkstar login:
password:

I didnt set up an account yet so i do not know what to type in. i did set a root password so tried root as user name and my password that i set and did not work. any ideas?

boot a live cd. ( Download ANY liveCD. )
mount your hd ( mkdir /mnt/slk/ ; mount /dev/sd? /mnt/slk )
chroot into that system. ( cd /mnt/slk ; chroot $PWD /bin/bash )
Create a user. ( adduser )
Reboot =) ( reboot )
