| A couple Common Problems A call them common, because every time I install slackware, 10.0, 10.1, and now with 10.2, I have had these problems.
1.) pkgtool's remove menu scans for files for a second, and then says "NO PACKAGES TO REMOVE. Hit enter to go back to the main menu"
removepkg will work fine, but this is annoying. anyone else have this problem?
2.) ALSA doesn't work! Now, if I install Slackware FULLY, as in, every package, ALSA works just great. but when I choose expert mode in installation, and I install only the things I need, ALSA loads up just fine and detects my card with alsaconfig, but I just get no sound. any ideas?
if you want me to post lsmod output or anything let me know.
my card: Sound Blaster Audigy ZS 2 Platinum. Module: snd_emu10k1
