Firefox + Flash = no sound - Page 5

In either Gnome or KDE, sound was there with flashplayer 7, albeit a second or two after the action and often disjointed and halting. With Flashplayer 9 though, all these problems have been resolved. Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 2	My solution (slack 10.2) This got it working: cd /dev ./MAKEDEV audio vi /etc/group audio::17:my_user_account,and_my_other_user_accoun t,tertiary_account_too... log out of X, and back in... and poof Strongbad can talk. (If that doesn't make sense... get Mepis or something that will work out of the box.)
