installation form boot CD

hi i wsa going to install slackware when i notice that there was 4 different disk iso, do i need all of them for installation or just on

Well, for a complete install you need all CDs! For a basic install, you only need the first one. I've never used anything but the first CD since I don't really need any of the packages on the other ones, and if I do, I just download them from packages.slackware.it! CD 1 will come with almost everything you need, base system + X and a few window manager & applications.
