Angry Slackware 12 boot problem

Ok, here is the problem:
After i downloaded the dvd from torrent i booted the cd and did fresh install.
at the lilo promp a loaded the linux i get blank screeen, which is weard because i used kernel 2.6.21.5 with Slackware 11.
than i tryed booting again from cd with:
Code:
hugesmp.s root=/dev/sda2 rdinitd= ro
login with root and make my own config /about 3 times/
the last time i got an kernel panic error that says somthing about driver 8.2 /which is something about my hdd/. I try to fix it but i couldent, so i decided to do a new fresh install.
I put my dvd in and rebooted and when i asks me about the source i put auto find dvd. It searches but doesnt find anything, so i try manually to load the source, but still nothing.
I decidet to see if the disc i ok and i opend it under window$ and says that the disk is empty!!!
so i try again with new dvd, again all the steps that i described above, but now i used the kernel-huge-smp-2.6.21.5 config files from my previous slackware current, and still blank screen. all the modules that i need are loaded.
Now the disk is still the same, windows says its empty, and i could boot from it but when i get setup source selection it cannot find the cd/dvd-rom.
Now i downloaded the dvd from mirror, but i dont know what is wrong, and why after one install the dvd is erased and windows says its empty??

What could it be wrong?? I'm very confused now, 2 days no success...

EDIT: i get this when i type lilo:
Code:
Warning LBA32 addressing assumed
....
....
One warning was issued

About the dvd i can't say a word, since if you burn the dvd nothing will erase the data unless you use a utility for this and the dvd is rw.

for the blank screen, it's related to the framebuffer of your vga, so append this option for lilo append="failsafe".

Regards.

i tried it but still the same.
But i dont think its framebuffer, because the hdd led doesnt light, and it's not loading anything
Code:
Loading Linux-custom.................................................................
BIOS data check successful
After that is blank, black, empty screen...
i've been trying different configs for 12 hours today and stuck, and cannot think anything else for now...

10x for the responses

append also acpi=off ,

to be sure that it's not the frame buffer boot and wait a while, type root and the root passowrd (if you already set it ) and halt or reboot, wait and see if your system shutdown ,yes i understand that the hdd led is not blinking but just to be sure.

Regards.

ok
append apci=off worked but i see dots instead ow words and i also se 2 linux logos also when it reaches to a certain point /which i am unable to see / it restarts the computer...
i'm thinking of what might be the problem and i'll check just to be sure and post the output.

EDIT: i disabled nVidia frame buffer and now i see everithing.
EDIT2:

10 seconds later

after that -> restart !
