    Notebook configuration question



    Hi, I recently started using Slackware on my PC and am about to install it on a notebook. When I get to the configuration section, what values should I use for the horizontal and vertical sync rates? The computer is a Dell 1505 with a 15.4 inch WXGA screen and I'm under the impression that the sync rates apply to CRT monitors.

    This should be stated in the manual of the notebook.

    I never had much trouble with the generic driver, your millage may vary though.
