    Exclamation Cant modify or delete from hardrive


    So my windows was wrecked so now i boot slax off a cd. I have one harddrive which is partioned one partion is a recovery thing. My problem is that i cannot seem to copy,modify or delete anything on my main partion. I try going to properties to change permissions but it just wont change for me how can i do it??

    Hi and Welcome !

    You have to mount Windows Partitions ( Drives ) first.
    Open Terminal/Konsole and execute this
    Code:
    su -
    fdisk -l
    df -h
    Post output here. I will post instructions for mounting partitions and copying data.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
