Another WUSB11 2.6 Problem....
Ok, after 5 hours of trying to set this thing up to work on my windows machine getting 'The device failed to start. (Code 10)' every time. I decided to try to do it on my linux box. Well, it took me an hour to figure it all out and get it up and running. The point of doing this is to run an ad-hoc so I can share the connection with my wireless enabled laptop rather than always being wired down to the rest of the network. The problem now is the connection is very intermittent. Sometimes I can see the Ad-hoc connection from the WUSB11 but everytime I try to connect (other than the first time after unplugging it and plugging it back in) it doesn't truely work. It says 'Not Connected' in the Wireless Network Connection window in windows. The ip's are static and when I have my laptop wired in I can ping the WUSB11 but can't connect to it with any real results. So basically I need help there and since all the help on the internet I found about Internet Connection Sharing happened to be for Linux distros with a service command I could sure use some help in that category too.
By the way my distro is Slackware 12
Thanks in advance to anybody who helps,
Alex
