Installation on bind DNS server taking a long time
I'm just installing on yet another computer and installation has whizzed along until I get to the installation of bind (DNS server and utilities).
This is taking absolutely ages to install - I've been sitting here reading a book for at least two hours. Is this normal?
P.S. At one point I pressed enter in frustration - will this have affected it?
P.S.S. I've overclocked a bit but I doubt that the system will have frozen but is it possible? If so do I need to restart?

It's been about 3 hours-ish now on the same screen. Do I assume the system has locked up and restart? Will anything bad happen if I quite mid-installation?

Ummmm - that's wierd. Any suggestions why this is? Just so I can improve my knowledge....

Have you tried resetting the overclocking you did and seeing if it
installs OK then?"I used to be with it, then they changed what it was.
Now what was it isn't it, and what is it is weird and scary to me.
It'll happen to you too."
