so i got just about everything working and i go to install bittornado, and i type in 'pkgtool' in konsole... but it gives me -bash: pkgtool: command not found can ...

    slack 12 no pkgtool?

    can i install pkgtool or something like that?
    but logged in as root it still works!

    You must have root permissions to use pkgtool for installing/removing applications.

    No need to actually log in as root, just su to root instead.
