vector vs slack
That's too much to explain easily. Basically Vector is based on Slackware but they have made it their own. From rewritten config files and init scripts to pre-installed codexes, OOo, unique GUI tools and heck .. a new kernel.
And it's fast, but running Slack you might have been used to thatCan't tell an OS by it's GUI
fast?! i thought it was slow personally. then i tried to reinstall slack over it, and somehow the two were combined or somehting, like vctor doesnt have lisa, it uses something else, and when i reinstalled slack it had both, the boot up screen had the penguin from vector til i logged in (new root apssword not the old one) it didnt give me the common commands, it was weird! im just reformatting and installiung slack this time.
