    backtrack, i want to access the wifi

    I am also having a hard time with backtrack 2.0. I need major help! can any of you help?

    Heres the Problem:
    i log in to backtrack and i want to access the wifi.
    i type ifconfig eth0 up.
    my wifi light turns on(means that the driver is working)...
    but when i type in dhcpcd eth0... it takes a while and i cant connect to anything.. can anyone please help?

    How's stuff like:
    iwlist scan
    Does that come up with output?

    Also, post output here from this command:
    Can't tell an OS by it's GUI
