Problem booting BT2 Final on an old Dell
I'm kinda new to Linux and I'm sorry if I make any mistakes here. I believe BT is based on Slackware and this is the right forum. I'm trying to boot BT2 final on an old Dell Latitude. Ghetto, I know. But it was free, so I'm using it to learn Linux. It boots as far as "Starting USB support" and stops. Anyone know of a fix?
Thanks,
Richard

Welcome to the forums SnapCrakllPop!
You are running this on a LiveCD?? Or did you install?
What are the specs of the machine? Roughly the build year? It could be anything, and may or may not have anything to do with the USB support it's loading. But it might be ACPI problems related to this.
On the other hand, BT3 is now in final stage so if you have the chance I do recommend running the latest version. Slackware has not stood still, and BT3 benefits from that. Can't tell an OS by it's GUI
