Printer setup?
I am running Slackware 10 using gnome. I want to know where do I go to set up a printer. I can't find any options. I am running the stock gnome 2.6.
Any Ideas, did I miss something?
Thanks

If you have cupsd running, in a browser go to 127.0.0.1:631 and configure it from there.

I run slack10 too and had the same problem - the only difference is that I'm on KDE - anyway, in your control center you should have a 'peripheral' menu and then 'printer' - as you have been suggesting already if you have CUPS running choose 'ADD Printer' and follow the wizard - you should find or choose the model that suit you the most
see how it goes - good luckIf you get on the wrong train all the stations you will come to will be the wrong stations.
