Ndiswrapper installation - module conflicts
Hi all,
Problem:
I have a DWL-G510 wireless card, with drivers, it works in ndiswrapper; ndiswrapper -l returns mrv8k51 hardware present, I'm happy. However, when I type "modprobe ndiswrapper" it returns:
Code:/lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/char/sonypi.o.gz: init_module: no such device /lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/char/sonypi.o.gz: Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters. /lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/char/sonypi.o.gz: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/char/sonypi.o.gz failed /lib/modules/2.4.26/kernel/drivers/char/sonypi.o.gz: insmod ndiswrapper failed
I'm using the 0.9 version, in case anyone knows of this version's conflicts w/ Slack. Thank you in advance for help.
The sonypi module is for Sony Laptops; what does that have to do with ndiswrapper?
