when i install linux slackwere 10.0 and configurate (whit xorfconfig).when i write startx in console and appers this :

_XSERTransOpen: transport open faild ...

ERROR:no screen found. help me
when i install linux slackwere 10.0 and configurate (whit xorfconfig).when i write startx in console and appers this :

_XSERTransMakeAllCOTSServerListeners: faild to open listener for inet6
......
FATAL IO ERROR 104 (CONECTING RESET BY PEER) ON X SERVER ":0.0" AFTER 0 REQUESTS (0 KNOWN PROCESSED) WITH 0 EVENTS REMAINING.
PLESE HElP ME.THX.

I used to face this problem in Slack 9.1. Usually, if you wait for a few seconds and then type startx again, then it works.
If it doesn't work, then check your /etc/xorg.conf

I had the same problem, try checking your xorg.conf file and making sure there are quotation marks where there should be.
At least thats what happened to me
