add wlan0 (slackware 13)
i've just installed slackware 13 but unfortunately i only see the following with iwconfig
lo no wireless extensions.
eth0 no wireless extensions.
i tried google-ing but the tutorials are expecting the wlan0 to be in already which currently is not. Will somebody help me in add wlan0 to the list of interfaces? or maybe point be to another source?
thanks in advance =)

It's been a while since I configured Slack so I'm going from memory... You'll want to use your favourite editor to open /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1.conf. Look it over and configure accordingly. It should have a commented out section for wlan0 that you can configure. Hope this helps...

Welcome to the forums!
Can you post the output of:
Code:/sbin/ifconfig -a /sbin/lspci | grep -i wireless
Can't tell an OS by it's GUI
