wine on slackware
I installed wine from slackbuild on my slackware 13 system and when I go to install a program through wine it will go through the installer and install the software it says. But when I go to run a program after the programs been installed the program wont work can anyone tell me how to fix this problem ?

Well, i also just installed wine on my slackware 13 but i haven't used it yet. You probably need to also install dcom98. Also depending on which version of wine you have it might be emulating later version of windows. you might want to change that to win98/95, use winecfg on your terminal. Try google on how to get and install dcom98. That's what i did on my kubuntu and it works like a charm
