    Talking Configure slax live cd to use network


    Have slax live cd (kde) and need to configure it into my campus's network. PPP-setup is not that helpful.
    Any easier way?

    Ethernet card(cable), and am connecting to my campus network configred with DHCP
    Explaining how to config with static IP addr. won't hurt!

    Nope, it won't hurt a bit. It might make you lose some hair but that's normal.
    Issue this command please, as root or use sudo. We need to know the chipset installed on the card.
