After I finally got my system working again, the damn XFce crap shows up, ON TOP of my original taskbar. I want XFce gone, but I can't figure out how. There isn't anything in the preference that I missed.. so it's got to be command line something.

i'm not quite sure what the problem is. you want to uninstall xfce? first, use xwmconfig to change to another GUI. you can uninstall xfce probably with removepkg xfce as root.

Yep, that's it. I was in the command line, and did the removepkg xfce thing, but it never let me, and that's what I was getting confused about. Sorry I didn't post all the info, I'll be sure to do that next time. Went into blackbox and it worked out just fine. Thanks for your help
