xmodmap with 2 mouse buttons...
I am having some difficulties getting my mx700 mouse's buttons working. Google hasn't returned anything of use so I come to you.
I am using a laptop so both mice have to be plugged in at the same time; if they are both working then both should be functional, and they are. But the problem comes when I want to use xmodmap to map the external mouse's buttons. I have read the man pages but it makes no mention of multiple mice.
Any help is appreciated.
BTW - I already have my xorg.conf file setup for the two mice, the external's identifier is mouse2. All the neccessary entries are in there, you know, ZAxisMapping, Buttons, and the like.

Check this action out:

That's what I run on my MX700, too. I don't use the three little buttons in line with the scrollwheel, though, but that will get the two thumb buttons and scroll wheel (and button) working."Time is an illusion. Lunchtime, doubly so."
