AR9285 Wireless Network Adapter
Hello. I am new to Linux and this is my first post here. I have installed Slackware 13.1 in my laptop and it's been an adventure ever since. I was having problems starting X and after lots of research, some kernel compilations and re-installations I was able to make it work and everything is good.
My problem is that I cannot get my wireless card to work. I ran lspci and learned that my card is a Atheros AR9285 wireless network adapter. When I run iwconfig, all I get is lo and sit0, both with "no wireless extensions" in front of them. Running lsmod does not return anything and now I am out of ideas.
Could someone help me out please? Thank you.
