    Portage on slackware

    Tried it a while back.

    Only partially successful for me. Swaret or slapt-get tend to produce less errors in installation of apps.

    I never had a problem with it, it's not fast tho...(neither with gentoo)

    Ps: It will work better/faster if you start with a full install(everything).
