Thunderbird upgraded-Choose application to use confusion
I just upgraded to Thunderbird 3.1.4, and the link doesn't work. That's not the issue here. The problem I'm having (running Thunderbird from console at present) is that when I click on a link to a website in an email, or click on "help" in the menu, a window comes up saying;

Send to: Choose application. I want to use Firefox, but when I choose firefox, it continues to say "open" the file, instead of making firefox the application to use. I'm confused. What do I do? Since I can't access the "help" in the menu, I'm asking someone here. The newer version of Thunderbird is supposed to be easier to use. That's a matter of opinion. I can't get anything to work as easily as it did in the earlier version I was using. What do I do?
