I can't get my sound to work. According to /proc/pci, I have a Trident Microsystems 4DWave NX. No idea how to get it to work. Any help would be nice....

Help configuring sound

Did you go and download linux drivers for it? That's really all there is to it. You've got to find some compatible drivers.
If you're really stuck you can try http://www.driversguide.com/. The login and pass for the site is drivers:all. It's been the same for everyone for years.
