    Lilo doesn't install

    Also having a similier problem here. Lilo doesn't want to install for me, i wasn't sure whether this because of my partition scheme?

    Here's my order
    /sdb1 ~ swap
    /sdb2 ~ /boot (boot)
    /sdb3 ~ /var (encrypted)
    /sdb4 ~ /
    /sdb5 ~ /home

    Gahh any help would be awesome.

    How many Hard disks/OSes have been installed in your machine? Post the output of fdisk -l command here.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
