Installing Realtek WIFI driver HELP NOOB

Hey guys just joined the site because I am a linux noob. I am using backtrack 3 which I believe is Slackware and I have run into a problem. I cant get linux to recognize my USB Realtek wifi card. My internal card works fine but I want to use this USB card. The card came with 2 linux files. One for the RT2070 and one for the RT3070. I am not sure which one to use so i figured i would make both. I have the driver .tar.bz2 files and I was able to unpack them both. I have looked at the ReadME files and see nothing i can understand and was wondering if any1 could help. I have tried cd file_name and then ./configure but it says no such file. here is the read me:
