K3b can't see /root
I use K3b for backing up anything I stick into my drives.
I have copied /root to a cd many times before with Slackware 13.0 and K3B 1.63. Now when I click on root it displays /opt, /var, etc. like before but when I click on root (also a partition) the app draws a dashed border around K3b icon and goes no further. ls -dl /root shows:
drwx--x--- 75 root root 12288 2011-06-20 20:23 /root
And I am root.
Tried to see /root from okular and its pathing is now preventing me/users from seeing /root.
This is what I get for falling asleep on the keyboard!! LOL
Any idea of what I may have done to cause this and how to fix it?Last edited by clickit; 06-21-2011 at 09:23 AM. Reason: problem pervasive

K3b can't see /root
Changing the /root permissions to drwxr-x--- soes not change the lack of file display. This lack of /root file display also occurs with konquerer, kword, and the like.
