    dvd ripping

    ... and here is my question ...
    How does DVD ripping work under GNU/Linux? Which tool does the job best?

    the best ive found is dvd shrink 3.2 running in wine.

    ditto on the dvdshrink under wine but if you want a truly native app try out k9copy i have found it works quite well.
