Lock after boot & Lock on boot
I have everything functional now tho haven't tested all apps. on my 13.37 Slackware. This is on my KT4V-L MSI with 2200+AMD. I am using LILO to boot.
About every 2 weeks when booting it will hang on booting. The last thing displayed on the screen is:
[ 0.199999] Serial: 8250/16550 driver, 4 ports, IRQ sharing enabled
Has this happened to anyone else?
About as rarely if I walk away from the keyboard (or fall asleep there) the system totally locks up ^C, Ctrl-Alt-Del, nor Ctrl-Alt -Backspace all fail to work. The system must be taken down by main power off. The display always is showing a screen saver of various images.
Has anyone else had this happen?

Which kernel version are you using? A few users reported same Bug in 2.6.35-xx version.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

Running 2.6.37.6-smp kernel. Do you know the work around or where the symptoms/fix were posted?
